[About Shiro Kunimitsu]
Shiro Kunimitsu is a family of blacksmiths who have inherited the blood of the Goban forge, based in the Yanagawa clan during the Edo period.
Inheriting the skills and spirit of their predecessor Shiro Kunimitsu, each sword is made by hand without any compromise.
Five swordsmiths produce Japanese swords and knives in a single place, each making use of their own style.

Yasugi steel [Yasugi Hagane], which is the closest steel to Japanese swords, is used for these forged black batting knives.

Forged Kurouchi knives are forged more by increasing the tenacity and strength of the steel, which improves the sharpness and allows for longer use.

Because they are made entirely from steel, the whole piece is prone to rusting.
*Please rinse the knives clean after use, remove water and store them.

【 四郎國光とは 】
四郎國光は江戸期柳河藩を拠点に活動する御番鍛治の血を引き継ぐ鍛冶屋一家です。
先代四郎國光の技と魂を受け継ぎ、一本一本手作業で一切妥協を許さずに製作しております。
ひとつのところで５人の刀匠がそれぞれの作風を生かしながら日本刀や包丁を製作しております。

この鍛造黒打包丁には日本刀に最も近い安来鋼【やすきはがね】を使用しています。

鍛造黒打包丁は、鋼の粘りと強度が増すことで、切れ味を良くし、長く使っていただけるようにより多くの鍛錬をしています。

鉄だけで作っているため、全体がサビやすいです。
※包丁は使用後、きれいに水洗いし、水分を取り保管ください。
