【 About Shiro Kunimitsu 】
Shiro Kunimitsu is a family of blacksmiths descended from official swordsmiths who were active in the Yanagawa Domain during the Edo period.
They inherit the skill and spirit of the previous Shiro Kunimitsu, crafting each knife entirely by hand without any compromise.
In one workshop, five swordsmiths bring out their individual styles while making Japanese swords and knives.

This forged black knife uses Yasuki steel, which is the closest to the steel used in Japanese swords.

The forged black knife undergoes extensive forging to enhance the steel's toughness and strength, resulting in better sharpness and long-lasting performance.

Since it is made only from iron, it is prone to rust.
*After use, please wash the knife thoroughly with water, dry it, and store it properly.*

【四郎國光とは】
四郎國光は江戸期柳河藩を拠点に活動する御番鍛治の血を引き継ぐ鍛冶屋一家です。
先代四郎國光の技と魂を受け継ぎ、一本一本手作業で一切妥協を許さずに製作しております。
ひとつのところで５人の刀匠がそれぞれの作風を生かしながら日本刀や包丁を製作しております。

この鍛造黒打包丁には日本刀に最も近い安来鋼【やすきはがね】を使用しています。

鍛造黒打包丁は、鋼の粘りと強度が増すことで、切れ味を良くし、長く使っていただけるようにより多くの鍛錬をしています。

鉄だけで作っているため、全体がサビやすいです。
※包丁は使用後、きれいに水洗いし、水分を取り保管ください。
