【 About Shirou Kunimitsu 】
Shirou Kunimitsu is a family of blacksmiths who inherit the bloodline of official swordsmiths (Goban Kaji) active in the Yanagawa Domain during the Edo period.
Carrying on the skills and spirit of the previous Shirou Kunimitsu, each knife is handcrafted with no compromise whatsoever.
At one workshop, five swordsmiths create Japanese swords and knives, each bringing their own unique style.

This forged blackened knife uses Yasuki steel, a material closest to that used for Japanese swords.

The forged blackened knife is repeatedly forged to enhance the steel's toughness and strength, improving sharpness and ensuring long-lasting use.

Since it is made entirely of steel, it is prone to rust.
*After use, please wash the knife thoroughly with water and dry it before storing.

【四郎國光とは】
四郎國光は江戸期柳河藩を拠点に活動する御番鍛治の血を引き継ぐ鍛冶屋一家です。
先代四郎國光の技と魂を受け継ぎ、一本一本手作業で一切妥協を許さずに製作しております。
ひとつのところで５人の刀匠がそれぞれの作風を生かしながら日本刀や包丁を製作しております。

この鍛造黒打包丁には日本刀に最も近い安来鋼【やすきはがね】を使用しています。

鍛造黒打包丁は、鋼の粘りと強度が増すことで、切れ味を良くし、長く使っていただけるようにより多くの鍛錬をしています。

鉄だけで作っているため、全体がサビやすいです。
※包丁は使用後、きれいに水洗いし、水分を取り保管ください。
